Lore of the Region 

The region was regained in the name of Gondor in the Fourth Age and was named for Vidugavia, an old King of Rhovanion. As Marwold is one of the largest regions of the Reunited Kingdom though it is not largely populated like the regions of Arnor in the North. The lands are being restored of the damage done by Sauron and may one day be a lush beautiful land once more. The capital of Marwold is known as Glindseld and is a great hall in the eastern lands of the Reunited Kingdom.
