Herein lies the tales and conquest of Telion, Descendant of Berúthiel.
First account of Telion
Dolthril, descendant of the once Queen Berúthiel and her second husband Azod of Harad. Dolthril daughter of Berúthiel III and Hukris has now come to reside in the lands of Harondor. Her tale is one of sadness, for her parents had died back in her home in the Southlands when Dolthril was not but a child. With no family willing to take her as their own she was left homeless, yet rather than die she made a choice. Dolthril would forgo her life as it was, she began to dress increasingly like a man even going as far as to lose the name Dolthril and take up the name Telion. Be as it may one thing Dolthril did in naming herself Telion was keep the tradition her family had of giving the females Sindarin names as opposed to the tradition her family had giving the males names of the Haradrim. Telion had with him one other gift of the women in his line, what they would come to call the gift of Berúthiel. The ability to converse with animals or insects, in the cast of Berúthiel it was cats, for Telion it was moths and butterflies. Telion growing up had a hard life, he lived on the streets struggling as the men of Harad made fun of him for his short and thin stature. He would find no comfort with life in the southlands. Telion did though had hope that he may yet find a way out of this life, that he may yet find a better life elsewhere. The only thing he had heard were the stories of old people told since the days of Berúthiel, the first of seas in the west, white cities, and kind folk. To his ancestors these would seem like a living hell yet to Telion their way of life was hell.
As Telion grew up he would be thought of as weak as he seemed exceedingly small and thin for a man. Though to make up for this weakness Telion would practice fighting whenever he could, he became cunning and deadly with arms. This person born of sadness became determined and strong-willed. Telion would hear of something he did not expect rumors that the throne of Gondor had been reclaimed and that this king had set out a call for those of Númenórean who wished to turn away from the worship of Sauron and Morgoth could rejoin Gondor and reclaim their honor. There was a call to arms among this that they would have a special honor in the kingdom, as Black Kings to the King himself. The men of Harad laughed at this but Telion had a new goal in mind, a goal to answer this summon and be rid of the ill treatment of those in Harad. So, the young Telion would set out for the lands of Gondor, to take the Oath of the Black Knights.
Once reaching the south of Gondor Telion began to ask increasingly of this call, and the people would share bits and pieces of the Black Nights. He would soon learn the name of this new group to be, the Black Knights of Númenor, and but by chance Telion would enter into the city of Minas Eithel at the same time the King he set out to find was there. Telion would ask the city guards how he might join these new knights and was taken to the Eithel Tower where the first group of these knights were taking the oath. Telion was brought before the King to take his oath and join the first group of knights. At last, he was free of his life in Harad, happy to be in the lands his ancestor was once a part of, and ready to cure the ill taste of his family in the people's minds. After six months of hard training Telion would become the top of his class, made the first Captain of the Black Knights, and Lord of the Black Tower, Not to be confused with the Lord of Harondor.
